4. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are provided in writing after a free site visit and consultation.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Prices are fixed for the agreed scope of work. Any changes, additions or modifications requested by the client will be quoted separately and must be approved in writing before execution.
- GST and applicable taxes are shown as separate line items in the quotation.
- We offer three payment plans: Standard Turnkey (30/40/30), Milestone-based, and Labour-only. The applicable plan is agreed upon in the work order.
5. Payments
- An advance payment (as per the agreed payment plan) is due upon signing the work order and before material procurement begins.
- Subsequent instalments are due upon completion of agreed milestones, as documented with photographs.
- The final instalment is due upon completion of the project, closure of the snag list, and your signing of the handover note.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, cheque or cash. GST invoices are provided for every payment.
- Late payments may attract a delay charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding amount, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Project Execution
- Work begins only after the work order is signed and the agreed advance is received.
- We commit to a clear project schedule shared before work begins. Timelines are estimated in good faith and may be affected by factors beyond our control (force majeure, client-initiated changes, unforeseen site conditions).
- Any delay caused by changes in scope requested by the client will result in a revised timeline and any additional costs communicated and approved in writing.
- We maintain a clean and safe worksite and follow industry-standard safety practices.
7. Materials
- For turnkey contracts, we source all materials as per the agreed specification in the quotation.
- Material warranties are passed through from the respective manufacturers. We assist with warranty claims where applicable.
- Client-supplied materials must meet project specifications. We are not liable for defects in client-supplied materials.
8. Changes and Variations
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be communicated in writing. We will provide a revised quotation or variation order for approval before executing any changes. Changes may affect both the project timeline and cost.
9. Warranty
- All plans include a workmanship warranty covering the quality of our execution.
- Material warranties are as per the respective manufacturer’s terms and are passed through to the client.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications, normal wear and tear, or acts of God.
- Warranty claims must be reported in writing within the warranty period. We will attend to valid claims within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Cancellation and Termination
- Before work begins: The advance is refundable minus any costs already incurred for material procurement or design work.
- After work begins: The client may terminate the contract with written notice. Payment is due for all work completed, materials procured and commitments made up to the date of termination.
- By us: We may terminate the contract if the client fails to make payments as agreed, or if the client’s conduct creates unsafe or unworkable conditions. In such cases, payment is due for all work completed.
11. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, plans and proposals created by Sagar Interior Work remain our intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point a non-exclusive licence is granted to the client for the specific project. We reserve the right to use project photographs and descriptions for portfolio, marketing and promotional purposes, unless the client explicitly objects in writing before project commencement.
12. Limitation of Liability
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from our services.
- Our total liability under any engagement shall not exceed the total contract value paid by the client.
